Samantha Smith has been volunteering every Friday this entire school year to help our kindergarten students manage their money and make purchases at our classroom store. Today was our last day to shop, and extend a big thank you to Mrs. Smith!

The high school physics class finished building and wiring their houses right at the end of their last class period. The houses look amazing, and the lighting works without any issue. One group even went the extra mile and installed a working ceiling fan in circuit.
Something tells me that it might be the Senior's last day. Hope everyone can make it to see them graduate on Sunday at 2:30 pm.
I want to take a moment to highlight one of our seniors, Keaton Blake. He will graduate from SES this weekend, but he graduated from Salina Area Technical College two weeks ago! It is a little backwards, but we couldn't be prouder. Way to go Keaton! He heads to KSU next year to earn a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Juniors and Seniors can choose to attend SATC up to half the day. They will take their core classes: math, science, social studies, and science at SES. They will take their "electives" at SATC. If they spend 2 years at SATC they can earn a diploma from college the same year (and sometimes before) they graduate high school!

Baseball completed their season in the Regional semifinals last night. Ellsworth defeated the Trojans 12-2. Thanks for a good season all players and coaches.
