Southeast of Saline Families:
We hope this message finds you well! As we approach the Thanksgiving Break, we are reflecting on how thankful we are to have the opportunity to work with your children. We are so proud of the growth and success that our learners have made this school year. They are fun, focused, dedicated, and persevere during their learning!
In this season of reflection and gratitude, we also wanted to take a moment to simply and sincerely say “Thank You!” for everything you have done, are doing, and will continue to do to help and support our students, our staff, and our wonderful school community.
We hope that you and your family have a safe, fun, fulfilling, and restful break.

Schedule for the week.

Today was our marvelous marble party for the final purple marble jar. The kids chose a candy party. They got to have ring pops during our spelling test, and then at snack time they got to choose two of the 3 candies!
After lunch today we had a special presentation from the Eisenhower Museum. They talked to us about Ike and paratroopers. They read a book to us about being brave and even gave us little paratroopers.

FFA sponsor Brooke Petty states: "This group of Freshmen did an incredible job yesterday at our District Novice Conduct of Chapter Meetings contest, which includes some memorization of opening/closing ceremonies and then a full meeting using proper parliamentary procedure. The top 2 teams from each room moved on to finals to determine final placings and State Qualifiers. After getting through some initial nerves, they made it into finals and eventually placed 1st! Please congratulate them on their hard work if you see them this week!"

4th grade -We learned about the heart all semester and now the high schoolers are letting us see a real heart! ❤️

JH BB back in action today.

The Library gave away some pretty rad books this week. These two students won our Wimpy Kid trivia game (3rd-12th graders participated) and snagged themselves a copy of Jeff Kinney's newest book, No Brainer! Thanks for playing, everyone!

The Woot-Woot Wagon is in the house! Many thanks to Angela and Jessica for the surprise today and to Parents Club for the support! Woot Woot!!

The superintendent kicks of the blood drive this morning. SES students help organize donors and the students and staff contribute in this vital way to our community. If you would like to be on the list for future dates you can contact the school as outside donors are welcome.
