First grade got visitors from the Ike museum today! Mrs C's and Mrs. Harris' class got to hear about Ike and read a story about mail, and learned how to write a letter!

SES Events today

SES had three students nominated by their teachers to receive the Salina Optimist Club's Unsung Hero Awards. This banquet honors one student in each of the Sophomore, Junior, and Senior classes. The Unsung Heros award recognizes students who have overcome a challenge or life events but have still positively influenced their school with a positive attitude, a willingness to help, and a commitment to excellence.

Mrs.Christiancy's class filled their good behavior marble jar and voted for an electronics day to celebrate!!




Our class earned a popsicle party today for getting a BINGO in our assembly last week! Way to go!!
The USD 306 Board of Education held a Leadership Luncheon today, recognizing the top 10% of each grade 9-12. Students were provided a pizza lunch and heard from SES Alum Courtney (Sager) Huggins, P.A. Courtney shared her education and career background and fielded questions from students and Board members. Congratulations to our SES student leaders!

SES Events today

KWU Football Camp information.

Music Appreciation and 8th Grade Choir checked out the eclipse, had eclipse treats, and created eclipse themed playlists that included Total Eclipse of the Heart, Fly Me to the Moon, Ring of Fire, and some Pink Floyd...among others.



Thank you to the Assaria Lions Club for providing the eclipse glasses for students and staff today. Very much appreciated!! It was a fun experience.
