Southeast of Saline will delay start of school by 2 hours for Tuesday the 23rd due to icing. There are slick spots, if you must be out please slow down and give extra room between vehicles. All buses will run 2 hours behind, reach out to your driver if your student will not be riding this morning.
Scholar's bowl competed in their Varsity and Junior Varsity League Championships today. The Varsity team won the League Championship with an undefeated record of 5-0. The Junior Varsity Team took 4th place with a record of 2-3. Congratulations to all competitors today:

3rd Graders had a great time learning about how Kansans lived in the 1860s. We churned butter, ground corn, packed a covered wagon and played pioneer games! Thank you to the Smoky Hill Museum for inviting us.

Lady Trojans came up short in the championship against Smoky Valley and finished in 2nd place.
Southeast of Saline Scholar's Bowl was finally able to get back out and compete, and it was a really fun tournament. The students went undefeated in the preliminary pool, and made it to the championship pool. However, after losing some tough and competitive matches we finished with in fourth place out of 16 teams. The boys will play for third place at 1:30 and the girls will play for the championship at 3:00. This could be our FIRST Sterling invitational championship for the girls so let's pack the gym and support our teams.
