The SES Children's Fund asked for help and they got it! They were needing several gift bags for clothing this holiday season. The JH StuCo jumped into action and designed a competion between seminars. The room that brought the most gift bags would win Christmas Tree Little Debbies and Capri Suns. Yum! Mrs. Schoenfeld's seminar won the competition and earned the treat. 70 gift bags were collected and donated.

The Library is hosting its third annual Christmas craft contest!


Chick-fil-A donated lunch to the SES Staff today. What a treat! The famous Chick-fil-A cow delivered the sandwiches and even took time to stop by and say "hi". Say "Mooooooo!"




Mrs. Parry's class learned about shadows and light in science--we got to use flashlights!

HS Girls Wrestling opens their season today at McPherson.


The Scholar's Bowl Team had another great showing yesterday. In dramatic fashion, the team just barely made the cutoff to be in the playoff bracket, and upset multiple teams to make it to the championship against Newton. After losing to Newton we finished 2nd and brought home a nice horseshoe shaped trophy with us. Great job to all who participated.

PreACT 8/9 results are being sent home with 9th graders today. They went over their scores and what the results mean in English 9 and they were encouraged to share this information with their parents when they got home. There is a video available on understanding the results in their Google Classroom Class of 2027. Feel free to ask them to play it while you look at the results. Student Council hosted Minute to Win It competitions today. These girls transferred marshmallows with spoons in their teeth. Winner got a Klondike bar.
