Each week one of our elementary classes is our graphic design squad. They create a positive poster to encourage us or to remind us of school rules. Check out the art around our building!

HS Basketball at Abilene today. The easiest path to AHS within city limits is closed due to road construction. The following directions should give easiest access. IF COMING OFF OF I-70: —take Exit 275 (Abilene/Clay Center) off of I-70 [do not take exit 272 Fair Road or you run into construction problems] —go south on K-15 Highway (Buckeye Street) to 21st Street (first stoplight) —go west on 21st Street to Mulberry Street (you have to turn south at this intersection) —go south on Mulberry street to stopping; this will bring you to north side of AHS where you will cross 14th street into our parking lot IF COMING FROM SOUTH ON K-15 HWY: —go north on K-15 Hwy (Buckeye Street) to 7th street (3rd stoplight) —go west on 7th Street to Walnut Street (3 blocks) —go north on Walnut street; this will bring you into the southwest corner of AHS parking lot

Mrs. McBride’s class made gingerbread houses today. There were lots of creative stories to support the house designs. We even had a few kiddos build some traps for the sneaky fox! Jodi Short and Jake Riffel both volunteered to help, and their support is greatly appreciated!
