Kindergarten students look for words that match the beginning sounds on their papers and then write the word to match each letter. What a fun way to learn about letters and sounds while moving around and practicing handwriting and fine motor skills!
It's so nice to have this additional space still available! Second grade is working on IXL, first grade is playing a reading game and working on IXL, and Kindergartners are kickboxing the alphabet and writing the room.
Lots of learning going on in our new space! Kindergarteners were learning letters, reading words, and practicing their rhyming skills. Fifth graders are playing math tic-tac-toe.
Twenty trees for The Addam's Family musical's Central Park have been drawn, cut out, and the back sides have been painted black...thanks to HS Music Theater classes today.
