Thank you to the High School Choir Students, Band Students, Mrs. Boley and Mr. Keasling for bringing us the sounds of the season at the "Spirit of the Season" concert. Great concert and good way to head to semseter break.

The fabulous SES admin team provided "Soup For You" for all staff today. Everyone left with a full belly of soup and Panera Bread. Yum!

All aboard The Polar Express! Mrs. Lilley’s class enjoyed the movie and hot chocolate today!

2nd grade Mrs. Orr

Mrs. McBride's Kindergarten class had a great time caroling, decorating cookies, and visiting residents at Sunflower Terrace (part of Bethany Home)!

Kindergarten says “thank you” to the RIF committee. Free books are a great way to start Christmas Break!

All aboard! Oh what fun it is to ride the Polar Express! Students in Mrs. McBride's Kindergarten class BELIEVE in the magic of Christmas, Santa, and the Polar Express!

Last week was our unit on the Polar express. Today Kindergarten got to watch the movie in our pajamas and have hot chocolate and popcorn!

We were so blessed to have a "Special Guest" Mrs. Powell come and teach us about Christmas in Germany. She lived there while her husband was stationed in Germany so she shared traditions, food, and even their language. 4th Grade has been learning about Christmas all around the world, so this was a very special treat. 🎄

Mrs. McBride’s kindergarten class is aboard the Polar Express as they head out to Bethany Home in Lindsborg for caroling, cookie decorating, and meeting new friends!

Ugly sweater day!

Come and enjoy the Spirit of the Season concert at 7:30 tonight.

Wreslters travel to Republic County for thier last tournament before break.

So thankful for the community support that we receive for our students. Holly Sanders presented SES with a check for $200. This money was raised by SES students who attend Kids Club. Students of Kids Club held a bake sale to raise these funds. So thankful for them!

Congrats to our 7th grade Drone Racing Team who placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd at the KSU Polytechnic League Competition. Firehawk Racing placed 1st with 345 pts, Elite Flying was 2nd with 325 pts and Airborne Racing was 3rd with 310 pts. The next closest competitors in 4th place received 160 pts. The team had to created a team, gather sponsors, learn to race the drone and create a business model in this competition. The teams are coached by Mr. Patrick Schroeder and this is the first year of the competition. Great job everyone!
