7th grade students in the Drones class leaned how to use Tinkercad to develop and 3D print a payload carrier for the drones. Thanks to the Greater Salina Community Foundation and specifically the L.P. (Pat) Mullen Fund for providing 3D printers through a GSCF grant.
7th grade students in the Drones class are practicing hovering and landing on a pad today. They have practiced with the simulator a lot to prepare to fly the drones successfully.

We had a special Show and Tell today! Brycen's dad, a former student of mine, came to share about how his life was altered after his farming accident. The first graders had great questions about his "robotic legs"! Thanks, Zach!

SES Brew Update--We will be open again starting Monday, November 11th. The current Brew menu will continue to be offered through the end of the semester. Starting December 2nd, middle school students will no longer be able to order from The Brew. The changes are due to "Smart Snacks" regulations. We are currently exploring options for an updated menu and will keep you posted on changes for 2nd semester. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
Elementary Grandparent's Day will be here on November 26th! Your student will bring home an invitation for the event on Monday. Please watch for them in the book bag!
