SES EVENTS TODAY

Reading egg hut part two. We have lots of good pictures to share!

Students had a great time hunting eggs during reading today. They had to find an egg, read the word to a teacher, and write the word on a recording sheet. The Easter bunny even left students some treats for all of their hard work.

SES is so blessed to be a K-12 building, and have teachers like Mrs. Ptacek who are willing to coordinate projects with high school students working alongside our kindergarten students.
The kindergarten students were able to see caterpillars under the high school's microscope, plant seeds to create butterfly habitats , and make chalk butterflies!
Thank you Mrs. Ptacek and high school students for helping the kindergarten students start their butterfly projects in such a fun and meaningful way!

Happy Bear/Animal Day in Mrs. Parrys room!

SES EVENTS TODAY

Congratulations to Mrs. Parry's class on having the most participation at McTeachers night! HUGE thank you to everyone that came for dinner and to McDonalds for the very generous donation for Parents Club!

Trojan Baseball/softball back in action today.

Weekly SES Schedule

Softball completes the sweep with a 13-8 victory in game two. Baseball wins second game against Abilene 11-8 in a daylight shortened game.

Softball wins game one 12-1 over the Abilene Cowboys. Baseball drops a tough one in 11 innings 8-5.

First and second grades learned students worked together on reading skill task cards.

During reading centers, kindergarten students learned about how to be successful in life. They worked on learning "The Pyramid of Success" and read books about each block of the pyramid. They earned brag tags by demonstrating each trait from the pyramid.

K-State Salina was on Scholarship Patrol today! Congratulations to Owen Gleason and Trey Droge. Owen is the recipient of a $15K Vanier Family Aviation Scholarship and a $4K Landmark Award. Trey is the recipient of a $10K Wildcat Traditions Scholarship. GO CATS!

This week is Assistant Principal’s Week and SES has two of the best! Thank you Mr. Minneman and Mrs. Franklin for all you do for our students!!

MS band students worked with Mr. Jake Montoya from KWU today during class.

The Advanced Computer Apps students presented their books to Mrs. Lilley's Kindergarten class this morning. The HS students worked with them to create a story that featured them as the main character. We had super heroes, police officers, and many more.

🚨 TROJAN FANS! 🚨
We’re beyond excited about the new TURF baseball and softball field here at Southeast of Saline! ⚾🥎
This is a huge step forward for our programs, and we can’t wait to see our Trojans shine on this incredible new surface! 💜💛
As we break in the turf, we kindly ask all fans to help us take care of it—please leave the sunflower seeds at home. They may be a ballpark favorite, but they’re not turf-friendly.
Let’s protect our field and keep it looking great for years to come. See you at the ballpark—GO TROJANS! 💪🔥 #TrojanPride #ProtectTheTurf
