Our four qualifying team members scored well amongst the best in the state during the first three rounds. Mara Mondt received a nearly perfect score for her dramatic interpretation piece, and Addison Gottschalk placed consistently in the top four ranks for her event. Unfortunately, these impressive scores were not enough to break into the semi-final round. However, the Improvised Duet Acting (I.D.A.) team of Kennedy Stumpf and Kipra Reed ranked 2nd, 2nd, and 3rd in their respective preliminary rounds, propelling them into the semi-final competition. They rank within the top 12 in the state for their I.D.A. performance, earning 134 quality points overall for the day.
