
Mrs. Christiancys class has had a lot of special guests this week!!! Officer Long and Camo came by to tell us about Camos job, we met our book buddies, and Coach G came to talk to us and read to us about football and this years theme - Havoc!!! Let's go Trojans!!








We had some foamy fun during our whole group reading time. We spelled the sounds in shaving cream.







We are learning math games for our math centers!





We practiced writing letters in shaving cream today in Mrs. Parrys class!






It's time for 10th - 12th graders to sign up for Concurrent College Credit through Salina Area Technical College. Mrs. Haden will be visiting all classes that are eligible to enroll this Friday or Monday of next week. All information has been emailed to your student email. Feel free to ask them about getting signed up! ALL FORMS DUE FRIDAY, AUGUST 30TH.





Look at what these kindergarten cuties have been baking up, COOKIES! Mrs.McBride's kindergarten students sure had a lot of fun making, cutting, and eating "Kissing Hand" cookies!

In Mrs. Riffel's Kindergarten class, we have been reading the story The Kissing Hand. Today, the kiddos got to make cookies. They had so much fun squishing the dough out and making the hand. They were yummy!








Southeast of Saline is so blessed to have Officer Long in our building! Today Officer Long and his therapy dog, Camo, came to visit Mrs.McBride's Kindergarten Class. Thank you for everything you do for our school Officer Long!

Mrs. Harris' class voted on the nicest classmate to receive the Kindness Coin and there was a tie! Sutton and Cassie are our winners! They are very deserving of this award! Congratulations!


We will hold a meeting in the district board room Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the current options for outdoor facilities improvements. The topics will include the plans for ball fields and field house as well as fundraising possibilities. The school board values your thoughts and opinions. If you would like to be part of this informational meeting and possibly participating on a fundraising committee, please join us.

The new crop of SES Madz had a fantastic and productive lock-in and we're ready to tackle the year!









5th grade houses, Isibindi, Reveur, and Amistad, were selected today! It was an exciting afternoon seeing which house students would be assigned to! Let the fun begin!
