8th graders visited Kansas State University - Polytechnic on their College Tours. We were lucky enough to sit in a helicopter and airplane, we learned about their new virtual reality program, we met a robot that could dance to "Gangnam Style", we learned that your Uber driver will most likely be a drone within 10 years (cars that drive themselves), and a big hit was the ice cream in the Union.

The scholar's bowl team took 5th Place out of 12 schools in the Beloit tournament with a record of 3-2. Our team was made up of two students who are rookies to scholar's bowl this year, 2 that joined the varsity team this year, and one veteran senior. This performance was outstanding for such a young team of scholar bowl competitors. The team for this competition was:
Alex Christensen
Austin Hanson
Kennedy Stumpf
Landon Albrecht
Logan Givens
Great job to this team on their efforts and hard work today.

On Monday and Thursday, the Life Dimensions class came to read to us and do an activity, and on Thursday morning we had a NED assembly.
