Happy #164, Kansas!

The Sparklers Dance Team and myself would like to say a huge "Thank you" to all the participants that joined us for the "Lilo and Stitch" mini sparklers dance clinic/performance. The girls looked great and it was a fun time for all of us!
There is another event coming up, February 15th and this year something a little different. It is called the Family Sweetheart Valentine's Dance. We are inviting fella's bring your parent/guardian, young ladies bring your parent/guardian. There will be a dessert bar and photo booth and of course a lot of fun! Kindergarten and up. $15 couple in advance/$20 at the door, $5 for additional dancers. Questions email me at sklover@usd306.org.

Mrs.McBride might be a little biased, but she thinks she has the best kindergarten students and kindergarten parents! We have been celebrating Kansas Day all week long! Parents/grandparents have provided a sunflower treat made from Twinkies and a chocolate chip cookie, cookies in the shape of Kansas with many Kansas symbols on top, and some protein balls that looked like Kansas Dirt! Thank you so much for all of the treats, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY KANSAS!

Trooper Ben and Buster the Bus are in the house! Students are learning about bus safety and how they can help keep everyone safe on our buses.

Mrs.Christiancy's class is learning about night patterns ! Yesterday we made the Big Dipper and learned about stars!

League Scholars Bowl was a success on Monday. The Varsity Team took 1st with a 6-0 record, and the JV team took 2nd with a 5-1 record. Great work scholars!
