Southeast of Saline extends congratulations to Susan Wilson on her retirement, with gratitude for the many years and many roles she has served the students of USD 306. We are currently taking applications for the next leader of our FCCLA and FACS programs. The position is posted on the Educate Kansas website as well as our own website. Do not miss the opportunity to thank Susan (and Bob Sauber who announced his retirement last month). Also help us spread the word of what a great place SES is to teach as we try to fill her shoes.

The unstoppable comedic duo of Mara Mondt and Addison Gottschalk showed everyone who’s top dog in Improvised Duet Acting at Saturday’s invitational Forensics Tournament at Salina South High School.
The dynamic duo took FIRST PLACE in IDA, beating out 11 other entries from around the state. South High was a big tournament, with more than 21 schools participating from Wellington to Manhattan, so this was a great victory for Mara, Addison and our school.
When you see Mara and Addison, congratulate them for a well deserved victory which now qualifies them for state competition in May!
