Sterling Tournament Update: Due to the weather, the Monday & Tuesday games of the Sterling Invitational Tournament have been postponed. The tournament will now be held on Thursday, Friday, & Saturday.
USD 306 will be closed on Tuesday due to the new snow and extreme cold.
HS Basketball for today has been cancelled in Sterling.
All Activities are cancelled for Monday. No practices or games. Sterling Basketball game will be rescheduled. Campus is closed.

Information was sent to 10th - 12th graders via their student email accounts today on how to sign up for Concurrent Credit with SATC. These forms will be due Friday, January 19th. Please take the time to check out the email and fill out the appropriate forms.

School will be closed on Friday, no activities or practices for Friday or Saturday. Winds are blowing country roads closed and will not be letting up.
2 hour delay for Friday. Light snow and Blowing snow is creating issues with the roads. We will delay starting school for 2 hours. As always, please review the roads in your area for what is safe in the morning.
Scholar's Bowl meet at Southeast of Saline this afternoon has been cancelled due to the predicted snowfall tonight making visiting teams nervous about travel. After school practices will proceed as scheduled. SES will keep on eye on the weather over the next several days to see if further adjustments will need to be made.

Regular school schedule for Thursday. We understand that some roads are still challenging so we encourage parents to make the safest decision for their children. Please communicate with your driver if there will be changes for the morning. Understand there may be some delays as drivers adjust drive speeds to match road conditions.
Southeast of Saline will be closed for Wednesday due to heavy snow and drifting on the county roads.
Yesterday was Grandpa Archie's Birthday! Grandpa Archie volunteers in many of our elementary classrooms several days a week. We are grateful for his investment at SES.

Reminder that school will be dismissed at 1:30 this afternoon in anticipation of the weather starting back up. Bus schedules are 1:45 minutes ahead of schedule to estimate the time for drop off. Please understand that routes may be slower today due to wet conditions. Due to the forecasted storm tonight there WILL BE NO SCHOOL ON TUESDAY.
