Kindergarten had a special visitor in their classrooms today. Mr. Justin Knopf read One Kansas Farmer to the kindergartners. He talked about what farmers do and why they are important to this great state of Kansas. Thank you Justin for taking the time to come to our classrooms!
Mrs. Kejr’s 5th grade students helped Mrs. McBride’s kindergarten students learn all about Kansas, and they helped the kindergarten students make hats to help celebrate Kansas Day. Happy Birthday

Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen at KWCH Channel 12 came to see 1st grade today--with May! We learned about weather and what a meteorologist does. Our picture will be on the 5:00 news!
Mrs. Richardson’s 2nd graders sure enjoyed having some high school students from the Discovering Foods class come and present to us today!
This week, Lakewood came to 1st grade to show us skins and real Kansas animals. 1st graders also had to figure out the animals’ habitat. Thank you, Lakewood!
