The kindergarten students in Mrs. McBride's class enjoyed learning about metamorphosis! The kiddos were not just impressed with the very long word, but they were amazed at being able to watch the transformation of caterpillars into butterflies.

Kindergartners worked on c, k, and ck today. They learned when to use "Defender C".





HS Track at Beloit Relays today


On Thursday, May 9th we are hosting JH and HS League Track. Due to the sheer size of this event, school will be dismissed at 12:10 pm after lunch for all grades.
Please note - if the weather causes us to reschedule, we will go to school like a normal day on May 9th and then we will have this adjusted schedule on Friday, May 10th.
Thank you for your flexibility and understanding for this change.

The 6th Graders visited the State Capitol today. We had a special visitor greet us. Thank you Steven Johnson, Kansas State Treasurer!




There has been so much learning going on during reading! Groups have worked on magic-e, defenders "d" and "t", and the LAZY schwa (he is our favorite!).








The junior high band sounded fantastic during their band clinic today!! Congratulations Mr. Keasling.
