Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, look who became coconut trees, in the kindergarten rooms! Mrs, Riffel, Mrs. Lilley, and Mrs.McBride dressed up as coconut trees to help kiddos practice letter identification. The students had a lot of fun putting letters on the trees.





A HUGE thank you to Rob Gorman for making the book bag hangers for the 6th Grade Center.


Mrs Christiancy's class had a special guest today; Ms. Stephanie the Bus Boss! She talked to us and read a book about how we can be safe on the school bus!!



Mrs. McBride's class met their fifth grade buddies from Mrs.Kejr's class. Everyone enjoyed meeting new friends and playing together at recess!

Congrats to the JHVB B team on placing 2nd today at the Clay Center tournament! Their only loss of the day was in three sets versus champion Clay Center (10-25, 25-20, 13-15).
A team finished the day 1-3, defeating Chapman in three sets and falling to Clay Center, Marysville, and Junction City.


SES Student Council is selling breast cancer awareness shirts! These shirts are intended for the pink-out football game on October 4th, but can be purchased just to have as well. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to Tammy Walker Cancer Center and the other 50% will be donated to Trojans Helping Trojans. The deadline for ordering these shirts is September 18th. Please join us in decking out the stands in pink!


Congrats to our very own Mrs. Schmidt for being the recipient of the Heart of CKCIE award!
She was nominated for this honor because she is always willing to help others and always had a smile on her face! We are so thankful to have Mrs. Schmidt at SES -- she is a world changer.
