Happy Mother's Day

Please join us in celebrating the retirement of Mr. Scott Emme, Mrs. Lanell Keeler, and Mr. Neal Zouzas from Southeast of Saline.

Parents, can you please assist us? We have heard of a new trend going around TikTok where students are intentionally jamming their pencils into the USB ports of their Chromebooks, which destroys the Chromebook. The other trend involves students sticking metal into electrical outlets to pop the outlet.
Please help your children understand there will be consequences of damage to district property. The cost of a replacement Chromebook is $235. We can all continue to work together to help our kids make wise decisions!
SES JH Band at the McPherson May Day Parade. Big thank you to Jake Montoya from KWU for helping out!!!!

Good morning! As we are wrapping up another school year, please be sure to check your student's lunch and enrollment fees on their accounts. If you have any questions contact Melissa @ 785-536-4287 ext. 1085 or Sheila @ 785-536-4298. Thank you for your help!
SES fifth graders are meeting in their AmeriTowne shops this morning. Students are writing shop slogans, designing shop logos and communicating expectations and responsibilities for Tuesdays field trip.

Friday SES Events

A big thank you goes out to Jessica Scott who volunteered the entire school year in Mrs. McBride's class. She has been helping the kindergarten students become sight word experts! Today we celebrated by having a sight word, popcorn ball, fight. The popcorn balls were actually styrofoam balls, with sight words written on them. When the students read the sight word, they could throw their "popcorn ball". The kids had so much fun. A celebration well deserved for these sight word experts!

Today 4th and 5th grade STUCO members delivered books to Gypsum, DG Market, Sunset School, Jerry Ivey Park, and a neighborhood little library!
