Today 3rd grade STUCO members started delivering books from our Book Drive to Free Little Libraries! Our first 200 books landed at the Vicki Ade Park, Sunrise Presbyterian Church, Jerry Ivey Park, Salina YMCA, and KWU! Other STUCO members will deliver about 800 more books in the next month. If you know of other Little Library locations, drop them in the comments! We'd love to share reading love in as many places as possible!

Golf has been postponed until tomorrow.

Weather update #2. No Baseball and Softball today.

JH Track in Russell has been canceled due to weather.

Salina Regional will be at school on May 14 for 2025-26 Sports Physicals. Paperwork can be picked up the main office from Sheila. Please take advantage of this opportunity and be ready for the Fall of 2025.

SES 5th Graders learned from guest speakers from BE Wealth today. Our visitors included Jake Huffaker (a member of my 2010-2011 5th grade class). Students have learned about investments, banking, and general financial literacy through the AmeriTowne Curriculum.

🙌 Volunteers Needed for Reality U @ Southeast of Saline
Reality U is an interactive, 75-minute financial literacy simulation designed to give students a glimpse of adult life. Based on their GPA and a lifestyle survey, students are assigned a personalized future scenario — including monthly income, student loans, credit card debt, and family status. They visit 12 booths representing real-life expenses like housing, childcare, transportation, and groceries, making decisions and learning how their choices impact their financial future.
📍 The event is at Southeast of Saline on May 13 from 11:30–3:00 PM, and we need volunteers to help run the simulation stations! No experience needed — just a willingness to engage with students and support their learning.
