
SES FBLA competed in performance events at Districts in Herington on Monday, January 20th. Congratulations to Paedyn Merrill, Brynn Perry, and Ashley Whelchel for placing 2nd in Intro to Business Presentation. They will have the opportunity to compete at the State Level in March.

SES FBLA competed in individual tests at Districts in Herington on Monday, January 20th. Maddison Robb placed 1st out of 24 in Accounting I and Kiley Isaacson placed 3rd. Ashley Whelchel placed 3rd out of 22 in Agribusiness. Isabella Owen placed 2nd out of 11 in Computer Problem Solving and Matthew Whelchel placed 5th. Isabella Owen placed 1st out of 7 in Cyber Security. Maddison Robb placed 1st out of 22 in Financial Math and Jacob Tonne placed 2nd. These students will have the opportunity to compete in the same tests at the State Level in March. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Charlotte Knopf, junior band student, who was selected to the State 1234A KMEA Honor Band!!! On February 27th through March 1st Charlotte will travel down to Wichita to rehearse and perform with this honor ensemble.

With record low temperatures forecast for the morning and dangerous wind chills, we will delay the start of school two hours for Tuesday Morning. The doors will unlock at 9:55 and buses will be delayed. If you normally ride the bus but you will not be riding in the morning then please reach out to your driver so we can adjust our routes for safety and efficiency. All practices and activities will proceed as scheduled.

Boys basketball loses a tough one tonight to Clay Center 72-63. They play again on Tuesday in the Sterling Tournament.


Lady Trojans pick up a BIG win heading into next week's Sterling Tournament. They beat the Tigers 54-46. Great job Trojans!



Mrs. McBride's kindergarten class used some amazing teamwork to build a snowman! They also used their math skills to compare the size of each snowball they rolled. A big thank you goes out to Sadie Franklin and Claire Harris for their help.
