The Sparklers Dance Team and myself would like to say a huge "Thank you" to all the participants that joined us for the "Lilo and Stitch" mini sparklers dance clinic/performance. The girls looked great and it was a fun time for all of us! There is another event coming up, February 15th and this year something a little different. It is called the Family Sweetheart Valentine's Dance. We are inviting fella's bring your parent/guardian, young ladies bring your parent/guardian. There will be a dessert bar and photo booth and of course a lot of fun! Kindergarten and up. $15 couple in advance/$20 at the door, $5 for additional dancers. Questions email me at sklover@usd306.org.

Mrs.McBride might be a little biased, but she thinks she has the best kindergarten students and kindergarten parents! We have been celebrating Kansas Day all week long! Parents/grandparents have provided a sunflower treat made from Twinkies and a chocolate chip cookie, cookies in the shape of Kansas with many Kansas symbols on top, and some protein balls that looked like Kansas Dirt! Thank you so much for all of the treats, and HAPPY BIRTHDAY KANSAS!

Big things are happening at Southeast of Saline. Work is progressing across the campus with Baseball and Softball infields nearly ready for turf and demolition starting on the field house. Thanks to the generosity of our patrons and the commitment of our board we have pressed forward with doing these improvements together so that our teams will be able to use the new facilities during the upcoming seasons. If you would like to contribute to the projects the time is running out. All contributions and memorials for the football field and field house projects will need to be pledged by Feb 15 in order to guarantee recognitions can be incorporated into the projects in time for the unveiling this spring. Full descriptions of the projects, how to contribute, and the recognitions available for the different levels of support are available on our website.
