Midwest Music will be out at SES in the band room during meet the teacher night on Tuesday, August 10th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm
This would be a good opportunity to pick up supplies your student(s) still need for the upcoming school year. Such as:
High School Band - Reeds, Valve oil, lyre and or flip folder
Middle School Band - Reeds, Valve oil, lyre and or flip folder
6th grade band - Essential Elements Book 2 (needed by October for class)
5th grade band - New or used instruments, Essential Elements Book 1

5th Grade Band Instrument Tryouts will be next week.
Mr. Keasling will be out at the school on the following dates and times to meet with any students who are interested in joining 5th grade band for next school year.
Monday, July 26th 3:00 - 8:00 pm.
Tuesday, July 27th 3:00 - 8:00 pm.
Wednesday, July 28th 3:00 - 8:00 pm.
No appointment necessary, just stop by the band room during any of the times below. Please enter via the back door to the band room (northwest side of building).
During this meeting students will have an opportunity to try various instruments in order to help them pick what instrument they would like to play next year for 5th grade band.

I just submitted an article for the July Newsletter saying Saline County is in green and school will open normally. Then today the county report came out and the positive cases have increased FIVE FOLD over the last two weeks. We jumped from Green to Orange.
