Southeast of Saline is still hiring for paraprofessionals to work with our students. Paraprofessional is a perfect job for a family oriented person who wants to work the same hours as their children. Bring your kids to school, work the school day in the building, take your kids home with you at 3:15. Hourly wage, benefits eligible, be off when your kids are off. Change to Football Jamboree in Abilene on Friday

Are you enrolled in Medicaid or CHIP? During the pandemic benefits were automatically renewed, but now States have started sending eligibility renewal letters that must be returned! More than half – 57 percent – of those who are estimated to lose coverage yet remain eligible for Medicaid during the continuous coverage will be children. Out of every 4 children that lose coverage, 3 will remain eligible but fail to renew. During enrollment Powerschool had updated while it was live and removed some of the option tabs when completing the "Checking/Savings Account Authorization '' form 7b. If you choose to use the automatic withdrawal platform, we are asking parents to resubmit that form in Powerschool. Auto drafts will not start until September 1st. If you were on recurring payments last school year using the Ezschoolpay website but would like to use our ACH withdrawal, you must stop the recurring payments with Ezschoolpay. JH Dance will be tomorrow from 7:30-9:00 pm in the upper gym. The theme is Western, but feel free to wear anything. Come ready to have fun and start the year right!

Grades 7-12 will start at 8:10 while grades K-6 will start at 8:15. Buses will arrive at school at 7:55, which is also when doors will open for students who are dropped off or drive. As the doors do not unlock prior to 7:55 it is important that students are not dropped off before 7:55. The common practice is to begin releasing students from the cars when buses begin releasing students. There are several drop off points around the school, we ask that students do not cut between cars or buses but use the crosswalks and sidewalks as much as possible. Please to not park directly behind the bus slots prior to buses arriving as it may block the bus from reaching their slot. This message is going out on Facebook, school website, text, and email. If you did not get this message in all of these forms then please check your powerschool parent portal to verify that all of your information was uploaded correctly into our system.

Aug. 14, 23 Dear Parents, The Trojan Football Team would like to continue the Little Trojans Football Club. All students Kdg.-6th Grade are eligible to participate. Each club member will receive a Trojan Football t-shirt and will be able to participate in the Trojan Football Camp on Saturday, August 19th. We will meet at the high school practice football field. (If weather does not permit, we will hold the camp in a gym.) The camp’s time is 10:00 am until 12:00 (NOON). Please bring a water bottle with you and dress appropriately. The SES High School Football Staff and the SES Trojan Football Team will lead the camp. The participants will take part in drills with the SES players leading. Each participant will have free entrance to the game if he/she wears the camp shirt and his/her name will be announced at the halftime of the Beloit Football game on Friday, September 8th. The cost to be a member of the Little Trojan Football Club is $30.00. Make checks payable to Southeast of Saline Football Club. This form must be returned to the school by Friday, August 18, 2023. We welcome walk-ins too. Your child’s white t-shirt will be delivered to your son/daughter classroom on August 31st.
