USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Brielle Felzien has been selected as our September Activity Member of the month at Southeast of Saline High School. Brielle is a junior at SES and the daughter of Brandy and Brent Felzien. Her favorite thing about SES is the community and feeling of family. She is thankful she gets to know everyone she goes to school with and that the community really steps in to celebrate and support all the students. Her greatest achievement and most recent would be placing 3rd in the nation with her junior parlaw team at FCCLA Nationals. They worked really hard to qualify and place after not even qualifying the year before. Brielle is involved in FCCLA, SAFE, StuCo, FCA and Science Club. She is also the manger of the cross-country team. Outside of school, she dances at Tamara Howe School of Dance. In the future, she plans to attend KU or KSU for general studies in the pre-law track. She hopes to finish at KU for their law school and become an adoption or estate planning lawyer. Her advice to others to get involved is to "do as much as you can. Everyone is busy, but in everything you could get involved in, you can do as little or as much as you want. So just join something and do what you're passionate about.
