USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Payson Murray has been selected as our Junior High Student of the Month for Southeast of Saline. Payson is an eighth grader at SES and the daughter of Travis and Danielle Murray. Her favorite thing about SES is all the friendships she has and how the community supports all of the activities and events. She also loves the culture at SES and how the teachers and coaches are always available when you need them. Payson is an amazing kid, but her greatest achievement how been being on the honor roll two years in a row as well as qualifying for the junior Olympics in the 800. Payson is involved in track and cross country. Her nominator said that "Payson has such a positive attitude towards everything she does and every situation or challenge that she faces. She works extremely hard on her schoolwork and on her running. She consistently puts forth her best effort and always has a smile on her face. She shows enthusiasm and resilience each day." In the future, she plans to attend college to work towards being an athletic trainer for a college program. Congrats Payson!
