Mrs. Currie has been selected as the SES Staff Member of the Month. This is her 8th year at SES and her 16th year overall in education. She teachers math at SES. Her favorite thing about SES is the involvement of the community, small class sizes and great students. Her nominator stated that "Mrs. Currie has high expectations, but also helps her students achieve those expectations. SES math scores are great, the students speak very highly of her, and she has a great smile." Her greatest achievement has been her family. Marrying her husband Taylor and having her two boys, Ames and Timothy. Life is never boring in the Currie household. She also has four dogs, Baley, Farrelly, Jeffrey and Buttercup. Mrs. Currie received her bachelors degree from Kansas State University and her masters degree from McPherson College. Her message to students would be to "work hard and always be kind. Our world needs as much kindness as it can get." Congrats Mrs. Currie!
