Charlotte Knopf as been selected as the Southeast of Saline Athlete/Activity Member of the Month for January. Charlotte is a senior and the daughter of Justin and Lindsey Knopf. She plays basketball and runs track as well as serving as the president of her local 4-H club. She is also active in FCCLA, Band and an officer for SES's chapter of NHS. Her favorite thing about SES is the community and the support group that is here. "It is truly incredible the ways in which not just parents and peers, but many community members come together to support students." Her greatest achievement in high school so far has been making the KMEA state band the past two years. It states that it is very rewarding to see al of her hard work that she has put in to achieve a goal finally pay off. When being nominated, her nominator stated that "Charlotte is a top notch kid who is involved in the school. She is a great student athlete who has grown as a leader on and off the court." In the future, she plans to attend either K-State or OU majoring in Architecture. Her advice to others to get involved was "don't be afraid to try new things and challenge yourself. Doing something difficult might be challenging at first, but it may become one of your most rewarding high school experiences." Congratulations Charlotte!
