Brooklyn Hartman has been selected at the Athlete of the Month for October. Brooklyn is a sophomore at SES and the daughter of Holly and Justin Hartman. Her favorite thing about SES is the people. She likes how it is a smaller school so you know everyone. Brooklyn is involved in Cross Country, Track, Student Council, Scholar's Bowl, BAM and FCA. One of her greatest achievements was getting first last year at league cross country for JV. Her nominator stated "Brooklyn represents the SES XC team and the school in an outstanding way. She is super-supportive of all of her teammates and exudes kindness." In the future, she would like to attend K-State for nursing and work towards becoming a pediatric nurse. Her advice to others to get involved is "Getting involved helps you make new friends and gives you a lot of new opportunities through getting involved."
