USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Mr. Todd Baird has been selected as the October Staff Member of the Month at Southeast of Saline. Mr. Baird is our social studies instructor and has taught for 41 years, all at SES. His favorite thing about SES is the students and the staff. He says "the students care about school pride and the teachers and administration are concerned with student learning." Aside from his service of the past 41 years to SES, some of Mr. Baird's achievements include being married to his wife Susan in 1990. He also states that the state football championship in 2024 is also very special as well. His nominator stated "Mr. Baird goes above and beyond in building relationships with all of his students." Mr. Baird received his Bachelor's Degree from Bethany College. He is married to his wife Susan who also is a lifelong educator. Together they have one son, Spencer. Spencer and his wife Laura live on a farm near Nelson, Nebraska where he owns a 2.400 head feed lot. Mr. Baird's message to students would be "Bring your Best Effort Everyday! Students should be responsible and reliable citizens." Congrats Mr. Baird!
