USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Ali Richardson has been selected as the high school student of the month for May at Southeast of Saline. Ali is a senior at SES and the daughter of Jericca and Bobby Richardson. Her favorite thing about SES is that SES is a K-12 school with a really tight-knit community. One of her greatest achievements has been maintaining at 4.0 GPA since the fourth grade even with all the activities she is involved in. Speaking of activities, she is involved in swimming, scholar's bowl, StuCo, BAM, FCA, NHS, Science Club, Publications and Spanish Club. Her nominator stated "Ali Richardson is a steady, positive presence in the classroom. She's an exemplary student in terms of engaging with new material and concepts and pushing herself as a writer and thinker. She's quiet by nature but nevertheless a confident and consistent discussion participant -- something she approaches with genuine curiosity that invites others into the exploration of new ideas as well. " In the future, she plans to attend Oklahoma Christian University to swim and achieve a bachelors of arts in English.
