USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Zachary Carlin is our April Student of the Month for Southeast of Saline Junior High. Zach is an 8th grader and the son of Stephanie Carlin and Mike Carlin. His favorite thing about SES schools is how everyone knows everyone. He enjoys how you don't need to worry about danger. "Southeast has a very safe environment. With all of the good teachers and staff, no worries cross my mind." His greatest achievement so far in school has been winning the league basketball tournament. Outside of school, he is proud of rebuilding a house with is brothers. Zach is involved in cross-country, basketball and track with cross-country being his favorite. In the future, he plans to attend college after SES. He is hoping to get a scholarship for running and major in business.
