USD 306 Southeast of Saline

Evan Watkins has been chosen as the January student of the month for Southeast of Saline High School.  Evan is a junior and the son of Beth and Jeff Watkins.  His favorite part about SES is that our school in in the middle of nowhere in a pasture.  I also loves the community and environment of our school.  The other things he loves is the teachers and the students.  Some of Evan's greatest achievements so far is that he received the Legacy Award twice, the Trojan Choice Award and the Citizenship Award.  Evan is involved in NHS, Science Club and FFA.  He also plays football and baseball for the Trojans.  When nominated, his teacher said that  he "always is so polite and respectful, a great role model for peers, is responsible and always gets quality work turned in on time."  His future plans are to attend college and hopefully find a career in the medical field.
