The Board of Education has started the process of remodeling the Field House located at the Trojan Stadium. The current facility is inadequate for our purposes and suffering from significant mechanical issues. Over the 50+ years of service to the district, we have seen the stadium seating expanded but the Field House has not kept up with the crowd sizes. The bathroom facilities are inadequate and not fully ADA compliant. The concession stand is too small and inefficient. The plans will be to redo the current facility with additions that will increase the size of the bathrooms, create a new concession stand, and provide additional space for coaches, announcers, and storage. The board has set a target of $350,000 to be raised through a capital campaign with the district to cover the additional costs through capital outlay funds.
